Skinned knees and bruised pride being loved on this morning.
The Mr. surprised me with a lovely Lily. It smells amazing!
Quick photo during our bike ride on Highway 34. Took us two hours and 30 minutes to ride from our house to Selmet-16 miles. Happy to be back on the bikes again.

Out and about soaking in some local history for #NationalWalkingDay. This canal was built in the 1800s as a means of transportation between Albany and Lebanon, Oregon. It also provided drinking water and electricity to the area in the early 1900s. It is now a historical site and water still pushes the old water wheel used for hydroelectric power back then.

No rain, but still a rainbow appears as the sun sets on the west coast.

Happy National Pet Day from these crazy critters.
If you're considering adding a pet to your household, consider adopting one from your local animal shelter. Our little PITA came from a shelter and has made for the best addition to our household. No house is complete without a pet!

The Bean and I took advantage of National Library Week yesterday and walked to our town's public library. We also hit The Little Library on the way back and donated some books from the Rain Valley Red Snails Classroom.

I can never get enough of the brightness and the beauty outside our windows this time of year. These Hawthorne trees are amazing and each year they put on such a grand show for us.

We finally cut the cord on our cable and we've been having a lot of fun with our new Amazon Fire Stick and some 3D glasses. By the way, we have already saved over $100 by making the switch!

Someone planted these trees over 60 years ago so we could enjoy them today. Every Arbor Day we love and hug them. Happy Arbor Day!
