My month through Instagram-March 2015

April 10, 2015

Haha, yes! That's why we major in English instead.

Today in the Red Snail classroom we did some awesome Dr. Suess crafts and celebrated Read Across America Day. We also started a new book: Homer's Odyssey by Gwen Cooper. How did you spend Dr. Suess' birthday and RAAD?

Always excited when my Honest Company order arrives. If you haven't tried The Honest Company Bundles, give them a shot for free!  You won't regret the switch!

Look what came today! Eeeeep! So excited to dig into this book!

You guys, this book is packed with 437 pages of 1,000+ ideas for your home. It has everything from kitchen ideas, to work space, and even ideas for your gym. Grab a copy! (

Friday night sparring.   Thank goodness he remembered his "cup" this time.

Natural Grocers in Corvallis, Oregon representing the Spa City.

Been looking at land outside of the city today. This pretty piece is off of Brewster Road and has the most amazing views all around. I could see a wrap-around porch working out quite well here. :)

If you haven't tried this, I highly recommend it. It's certified organic, high in fiber, a good source of whole grains, and the best part, no GMOs. Oh, and it's delicious and filling! If you aren't familiar with hemp products, give them a try. They're a great addition to your diet.

A little glimpse at what was made at the last Brit + Co Co-Op. If you missed this one, you can grab the kits for yourself at

Check out the Lucky Shamrock Necklace in the shop now. This four leaf clover just might bring you the luck you need this St. Patrick's Day. The clover sits perfectly inside the glass frame and the chain hangs 18-inches from the neck. This piece can be customized for different colors.

A little fermentation happening right now in our airing cupboard. Giving a shot at homemade hard cider. Exciting!

Oh, don't mind us, it's just a normal, little toy box battle going on.

**Happy Pi Day!**
Be sure to eat some pie at 3:14 to celebrate math and Einstein!

Every time I go to put on my shoes to go run, this always scares the daylights out of me. It looks like a smashed bug in the bottom of my shoe and startles me. Ha!

Beautiful shots around the Oregon State University campus. The cherry blossoms are on full display.

A little weekend shell hunting trip was a success.

Our annual St. Patrick's Day rainbow window finally saw some sunshine today. It looked beautiful! Happy St. Patty's Day from The Peppermint Bee and the Red Snail Classroom in Oregon!

The rain today gave us a little rainbow action for St. Patrick's Day. Perfect timing. Sometimes the rain is okay.

Sometimes graffiti makes me smile. TGIF!

The very best kind of people!

An afternoon at the daffodil farm. Picked us about 100 stems for the dining room table.

(Your life matters. Your thoughts matter. Showing kindness, love, and respect in a world where there isn't much, means more to some than you know. Take and make time for people that make your world better. Cutting out the negative and focusing fully on the positive will make you see the world in a different light. Putting effort into those that put effort into you is the first step. Love is actually all around you, open your eyes and look. )
