Two Weeks Check In!

In her Boots

It's the two week check in for 30 minutes 6 days a week:   #Active 180 Challenge over at A Mile in her Boots. I had a better two weeks than the two weeks before. I was actually very active these past two weeks and I pushed myself to just do a little bit more than the day before. I had great success with these days and I am so thrilled at what the scale said too. Here is the break down of my past two weeks.

Week Three:

Day 1:  Ran for one minute, walked for four, repeated five times.
Day 2:  Yoga for 90 minutes with a slow walk with my son around the block.
Day 3:  Yoga for 90 minutes, paired with 100 sit-ups.
Day 4:  Ran for one minute, walked for four, repeated six times.
Day 5:  Ran/walked for 30 minutes.  My legs were a little sore on this day, but really sore the next morning.
Day 6:  Slow walked around my block and yoga for 30 minutes.

Week Four:

Day 1:  Ran for one minute, walked for four, repeated six times.
Day 2:  Yoga for 90 minutes.
Day 3:  Yoga for 90 minutes, and a fasted-paced walk around my block while my son rode his bicycle.
Day 4:  Ran for one minute, walked for four, repeated seven times.
Day 5:  Slow walked around the high school track because my legs always feel that push to the next level the following day.
Day 6:  I took this day off because we had the Strawberry Festival here in Oregon and I walked A LOT!

The last two weeks I can feel I am getting stronger, but I still have a long way to go to reach my goal.  It will happen because I will make it happen.  Thank you, as always to Melissa over at A Mile in her Boots for helping me get motivated once again.  Can't wait to see where I am in two more weeks!

If you want to join this fun and motivating link challenge head over to Melissa's blog and link up!  The next check in is Monday, June 17, 2013 (every two weeks).

Here's the break down:

Be active for 6 days a week for at least 30 minutes a day! Sound crazy? Well, I think when you spend 3 or so of those days walking for 30 minutes it doesn't. We all know life can get busy but anyone should be able to find time to be active for 30 minutes a day! You don't have to just walk, you can substitute walking for running, biking, yoga, cardio etc. Who is ready to get active and boost their metabolism!?

Eco-Tip:  Go meatless once a week.  Start the trend of a "Meatless Monday" in your home and stick to it.  Having one less meat-containing meal once a week will help with adding more vegetables, dairy, and other food items your body can use just as much.
